UAE e-Invoicing Deadline: 30 October 2026 for AED 50m+ Businesses

October 8, 2026 · UAE business insights

8 October 2026 | UAE tax compliance alert

The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has reconfirmed that in-scope businesses with annual revenue of AED 50 million or more must appoint an Accredited Service Provider (ASP) for e-Invoicing by 30 October 2026 and implement the system by 1 January 2027.

Other deadlines

In-scope businesses with revenue below AED 50 million must appoint an ASP by 31 March 2027 and implement the system by 1 July 2027. The Ministry of Finance previously extended the first ASP deadline without delaying implementation.

How to prepare

Confirm the business is in scope, select an ASP from the official Ministry of Finance list, and arrange accounting/ERP integration, testing and EmaraTax onboarding. A PDF invoice sent by email is not itself a compliant structured e-Invoice.
